Beautiful unit at MKV

Location is perfect. Right near ocean, pool, restaurant, bar. Nice view of water. Huge patio. Not over furnished, lots of room in unit. Very pleased!

Kaanapali beach is the best on Maui and this unit is right in the middle of best strip. 5 min from Whaler’s village where you can eat delicious food and do shopping.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful place view exceptional, clean, convenient over looks pool and walking path thru property. Pool open til 10 pm so some noise til then but not a lot. Book it won’t be disappointed!!

Perfect Location!

We stayed here with our children and loved it! Location overlooks the beautiful, quiet pool. You can see a sliver of the ocean from the patio. You can walk to the beach, restaurant or pool in 2 minutes. The place was very clean, nice linens & great kitchen. We would 100% stay here again!

Beautiful condo with an incredible location!

We were beyond impressed with this unit and are so happy we chose it. It looks just as it does in the pictures and comes so well stocked. The proximity to the pool, restaurant and beach was perfect. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Would highly recommend and plan to stay here in the future. Only thing missing was some snorkel masks but we picked up a couple pair and left them for future guests.

First time in Maui

Pretty good

This place was in a nice condo complex. Loved the pool and beach close by. Lovely tiki lights lit at night. Great ambiance. I only wish the furniture in the front room was cozier and softer to sit on. Didn't love the glass table either. Would have liked more comfortable chairs on lanai, too. Beds were great! Needs a few more rugs...too much hard floor! Otherwise place was great!!!!! I loved how spacious it felt.

The path to whalers village was easy and a great way to get around. The Castaway Cafe is right near it for food and drinks. Would stay here again. Also got a massage at the hotel that was fantastic!!! Parking is a bit challenging but that's my only complaint.

Amazing time with 2 small children

We came back to Maui for the 5th wedding anniversary with our 4 and 2 years old. The property has everything we needed and is within a few min walking distances to the sandy beach (though sadly beaches are eroding) which was great since we had 2 small kids in tow. The only issue we had was that the laundry machine was leaking water, and we contacted the owner. They were quick to respond but unfortunately, the laundry machine never gets fixed during our 9-day stay. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Will come back again!

Perfect Location for a Family

Our family of four spent two weeks at the condo and it lived up to all of our expectations. The location is amazing and it had all of the amenities that our family needed. It was spacious and clean, and the laundry machine was a definite plus! We usually rent beach chairs and bring our own beach towels so the fact that the condo was stocked with those items (along with beach umbrellas and cooler bags for the beach) was a huge plus! The management team was excellent and extremely communicative, keeping us in the loop every step of the way and answering all of our questions within minutes of texting them. We had an issue with some of the pillows in the condo (we are allergic to down) and when we texted them about it, they went and bought 4 new pillows for us and dropped them off that day. They definitely go the extra mile! We will definitely be back in the near future. Mahalo!

Fantastic facility for our family

The property is a perfect fit for our small family of two adults and a three-year old -- but could definitely accommodate more very comfortably! The location of the unit on the resort is fantastic overlooking the pool, near the restaurant, and just steps away from the beach. We had been to MKV before and were looking forward to another great visit. The resort was just as we remembered it and the unit was even better than expected. The unit had everything we needed and every detail covered. The unit is in great condition with plenty of space for 3-4 people. The balcony is wonderful , the separate bedroom is great for naps and different bed times, and the unit is so well equipped that we just showed up and enjoyed vacation without any hassles or worries. The resort staff is great and communication with the property manager was incredible with helpful details following our initial reservation, updates and instructions leading up to our stay, and a welcome note and chocolate covered macadamia nuts for us on arrival. It was a fantastic week on Maui and this unit was exactly what we were looking/hoping for!

Quick Trip- First Time to Hawaii

Everything was new and clean and that’s exactly what I was looking for! This is exactly the kind of unit I was looking for as my other searches promoted old and dated units with krusty comforters! This was my first time to Hawaii and this place left such a lasting memory I will for sure return! I worked with Megan and she answered all my questions when booking this place. As far as the beach it was so beautiful! Walked down to the nearby condo complex and so glad I didn’t book there as that Beach was overpopulated. The Maui Kaanapali villa condo complex has a very private feel. Also ate at the castaway cafe a few nights which was delicious, even got carry out one night. If you are one to just plan on sitting on the beach drinking a cold one, this is the place for you! The weather was perfect and I love the attitudes of all the locals, it’s such a stress free feel. will be returning for sure!

“MKV” on Kaanapali

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I were delighted with our Condo rental for most aspects. We were on the second floor, overlooking the famous Kasnapali beach walkway, and with a view of the Castaway Restaurant. We had a small view of the ocean. The condo was clean, and we'll stocked with dishes. A nice glass table and chairs accompanied a sofa and chair. It looked to be updated in the ladt5 years or so. There were 2 beds in the Bdrm, and oddly no lamp on the table between. Apparently, the room had been changed to accommodate two beds, and the lighting in the ceiling did not light either of the new beds. I imagine it is a work in progress. Lighting in the living/dining room was inadequate as well. The bathroom fan did not work. With a few changes, this has potential to be a 4 Star property, but we can give it 2-3 stars. The condos around are being remodeled now, and that may be of interest. There were 2 gatherings to acquaint folks with the property and concierge services, and a Mai tai gathering mid week. We enjoyed the involvement in engaging activities and information.

Almost Paradise...

Just love the resort, However when I booked E 292, I forgot they had added the Beach Walk through the middle of the resort. Folks start walking at 4am, and walk until the middle of the day, and some run. Gets tiresome watching from the lanai. Which brings me to my only real complaint about E292. The lanai chairs are VERY uncomfortable, the only chairs out there are those dining room table chairs, very straight backed and hard! Your bottom will be numb even with the cushions. They also need some chairs with arms, something that makes you want to spend time looking at the lovely view. The condo itself is very roomy, and nicely furnished. The bathroom needs a fan in the toilet area, no window or anything in there, it does get stuffy. Kitchen could use more gadgets, I had to go buy a juice pitcher at Longs, Your Welcome! Beds are VERY comfy, AC is tempermental, if you do not have the balcony doors shut tightly, it will not come on, and Blinks BALCONY until you figure out how to fix it. At $300.00 a night, it needs some tweaking. The floors are very dirty, do not walk barefoot on the lanai either!!! Aloha!

Wonderful location, outstanding view and perks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo 292 at Ka’anapali Villas is a great spot to spend a vacation. Maui is one of my favorite spots in the world because the variety of beaches nearby, convenience to luaus, shopping, and dining. The inside is beautifully decorated and set up is really nice, right sized kitchen, double wide lanai with room for eating outside as well as storage for boogie boards, scuba gear and bathing suit drying rack that were all nice surprises to have. The room has a view of the main pool and the ocean which is wonderful. But close the doors, and it was still a comfortable place. Good bedding, extra towels, a washer/dryer handy for beach towels and not taking home wet items, not to mention plenty of cups, plates, pans, and serving platters to cook onsite. While these condos are not the newest in this area, they are well maintained, the grounds are beautiful and it has all the amenities you’d want. Castaways cafe, on the property, has great tropical drinks and live music a few evenings a week, and decent meals if you don’t feel like leaving the site. Also the beach on this property is, IMO the best in the area. There are less people sharing the area than the high rise properties down the road, the water is warm and the sand is soft. We saw sea turtles and dolphins right there plus stunning sunsets. Shade and sun both available. We had a late night flight back to the mainland so though we had to check out at 11 am there was a place to store our luggage and the property has a spa locker room where you can shower and change before leaving, allowing you to still use the property your final day on the island. We could have asked (we didn’t know) to pay a day rate and use the room later in the day, but didn’t know that was possible. If you’d like to do that, do ask before arriving. Our option still worked but we would have happily paid a bit extra to have a base to stay that last day. Either way, I’d happily stay at this exact site again
