Overall is a good hotel and I will recommend it. - The location is good: Opposite to Hyde Park. Great for travelers who’d like to jog or run during their stay; Close to Lancaster Gate Station. 8-mins walk to Paddington Station. Convenient to take buses. - Room is clear in general. - Staff are also nice and helpful. - Ventilation is not good in washroom. Smell will be trapped after using the toilet. - Ventilation is not very good in the room; Air conditioner is difficult to manage. - The hangers can’t be moved from the closet area. - The shower head is stick to the wall. It will be much better if it is movable. - The menu for the buffet breakfast is same for every day.

Good Location but old facility

It's a good hotel but seems too old, the facility in the room look old. The toilet has a leaking problem, but we only stayed two night so we didn't complain to hotel. But the location is very very good, just beside the Hyde Park.

This hotel can only be rated as a 3-star hotel at most, or even a 2-star hotel. There is no bottled water in the room, only a small piece of soap and a small bottle of body wash. The whole room decoration looks like living in a 2 star room, very disappointed.

A decent accommodation for the price although some cleaning, specifically air vent grills, could use some attention. The bathroom is not particularly nice but this seems to be the standard in these older London hotels/ buildings. The TV also was not too great and only played music stations and a few select old shows. Staff was always great and it is located very close to Lancaster Gate and Paddington is not too far so getting around on the tube was easy from here. Hyde park is close by for having a nice walk about with the family. Would stay again since the tested were reasonable.

Great location, virtually next to a station of the central line, and just a 10min walk from a circle line station. Started each morning with a full english breakfast at the hotel and then went off across the street, into hyde park to walk (by choice) to our target-site visit of the day. The hotel staff was super friendly, accommodating, and they prepared a nice, personalized welcome for my wife's birthday (card,with a nice message, chocolate, balloons, etc.). They helped her feel all the more special and added to the london-visit experience in the most positive way!

Das Zimmer hatte schon bessere Tage erlebt (Risse, Schimmelecken, Farbflecken von Malerarbeiten). Die Handtücher und Bettwäsche hatten einige Flecken. Zimmer für zwei Personen so gerade ausreichend (Zwei Bett Zimmer mit Einzelbetten). Da nur Minimal Schrank vorhanden musste aus "Koffer gelebt werden". Sehr hellhörig. Draussen lief die ganze Nacht Klimaanlage vom Pub, die leider sehr laut zu hören war. Lage war aber super. Tube 2 Min. Paddington 5 - 10 Min. Hyde Park direkt vor der Tür. Rezeption sehr nett.

Brukar boka detta hotell när jag är i London. Läget är jätte bra med buss och tunnelbana runt hörnet. Nära till allt och härligt och bara kunna gå över gatan till Kensington gardens. Trevlig personal som är hjälpsamma. Bra engelskt frukost. Jag bodde själv i ett classic rum med en dubbelsäng. Detta rum passar jätte bra för en person. Svårt och se hur msn ska få plats två. När jag reser med någon brukar jag alltid uppgradera hotellrummet till något av de andra. Var sommarvärme i London men en mycket effektiv AC på rummet!
