If you have an allergy to a certain food, make sure you let them know in advance so they can prepare your breakfast properly (they start preparing breakfast the day before, so if you didn't tell them in advance, they can't change it). "Enjoyed our private onsen time and having 3 options of outdoor hot springs. Loved our large room with the view of the stream, greenery and the birds singing. We were also happy with the Yukata options at the hotel. Ice cream bar was delicious. Japanese breakfast buffet was impressive! This was the best Kagaonsen experience for me and my friends."

"The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area. "
