"I book online and when I reach the girl didn't know what to do. because I was tired I promised to pay cash. After paying she lost the money somewhere and she start accusing me that I have taken the money. I ask her to give the number of the manager she refused. After I got the number myself from internet and I called. to request to be refunded my money. the boss apologies and she went and she got the money and pays me. It took us 1 hour at the reception "

"This hotel was a residence at one time so the layout is a little strange. On the second floor, there is a large living room area connected to two tandem bedrooms, the master reached via a small bedroom; this would be ideal for a family. Other guests on this floor have access to the living room. There is also a large balcony. I had a small room with a bath; no shower per se, just a tub with a hand shower attachment, a little awkward to use. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I...

"Very bad acces road especially after rain. Away from main road and any big shop. Breakfast was always late and room next to kitchen is a nightmare. No night time so no good sleep for you (noises). Owners are friendly but they need to be more serious about guests. No hot water in shower. Heater broken? No bin bags. Doors and windows are not soundproof like stated on www. Good view on the city may compensate above issues. I would come back but this time only on top floor."

"Got to the (awful) hotel to be told the airport shuttle wasn't available and they weren't expecting us. We showed them the confirmation of booking and payment and the phoned their boss. Apparently every internet booking the payment isn't received so if we want to stay at the hotel we would have to pay twice and claim the money back later. They openly admit they try this on all bookings. We left and stayed at the airport instead and will claim or original payment from Expedia."

"Beautiful, sparkling clean, an oasis! We had the deluxe suite with window so tons of space. It was quiet, very comfortable, and had all the amenities. Spacious shower with hot hot water ( and a shower curtain! Yay dry floor) also beside tables with lights And plugs, things you miss at other places. The breakfast was wonderful with many savory choices as well as yogurt, cereal, fruit, and many juices. The location was very convenient and the staff was very nice. It was a treat to stay here"

"The EH is a fantastic value. Room was excellent- very clean, air cond was great, hot shower. The facilities - restaurant, gym, store in premises at Lee great. The best part, this hotel is smack in the middle of everything without the busy aspect found across most places in Kampala. If I go to Kampala again, definitely will stay there."

"Lovely hotel. Very clean. Excellent service. Staff really helped us out with a few things. Free baby cot which was very comfortable. Room was very clean. Lots of water bottles. My only problem was no shampoo… a minor detail though. Food was delicious. The buffet breakfast had dishes that were different - not the same every day which was great. And for bacon lovers…. they have bacon cooked perfectly!! "
