It was a valuable experience to spend time in an old Japanese house. The flat bus is recommended for the way from the station. But I knew it when I checked out. I thought the hotel should inform the guests.

I and my wife have always admired at living at a traditional Japanese house. Machiya Kanazawa was exactly what we dreamed of. The interior was so beautifully refurbished, even better than the pictures. Unfortunately those days were rainy otherwise we could have enjoyed the little garden area outdoor as well. It was almost like brand new. Amenities were great (the washing machine was the best ever!). It is also right next to a loop bus line which makes it super convenient. Staffs were super helpful and responsive. Remember to call the staffs before you arrive for check-in. Great experience- makes me want to certainly try Machiya at other locations.

Such a nice blend of Luxury and tradition! This spacious home had 4 bedrooms, a kitchen with a table and a den as well as a bathroom upstairs. The stairs are a little narrow so anyone with mobility issues can easily stay downstairs. The lighting, simplicity and appliances were all superb. You can walk to the Omicho market in about 20 minutes and the train station the same. Well located, so very comfortable and a real treat to stay in. Thank you.

素晴らしい金沢滞在。

友人たちと金沢へ遊びに行った際に、みんなで泊まれる宿泊施設を探したところ 見つけました。部屋が4部屋もあり、10名でも 楽に泊まれる広さです。キッチン用具も用意してあり、自炊もでき とっても便利でした。寒い日本海側なので 室内が寒いくないか 心配でしたが、床暖房も暖房も完備で、トイレもお風呂も暖房がしっかり入っており、寒さを感じませんでした。築100年も超える民家ですが、日本らしい雰囲気と共に、きちんと家が現代向けの設備にリノベーションされており 非常に快適に過ごせました。まるで高級旅館のようでおススメです。

Gorgeous traditional Japanese house

Amazingly traditional and comfortable house to stay in Kanazawa near the Higashi Chaya district. Service was great, just a little hard to find but a quick phone call to the office while in a taxi and all was sorted within minutes. Highly recommended for a large group.
