「We were originally booked in Lucerne, but after a less-than-ideal hotel experience, we made a last-minute switch to Villa Honegg—and it did not disappoint. 「Boutique Hotel Schluessel was perfect for a remote getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of amenities including a self service mini bar, hairdryers and drinking water faucets in the rooms. Our room was warm in the heat of the summer but we were provided with fans which kept the room cool. 「5 star Hotel. Spectacular views everywhere. 5 star dining. Was there 32 years ago, and they have made substantial upgrades. Will definitely return to do some more serious day hikes. Bring your walking poles and hiking footwear, and enjoy a beer on the terrace afterwards with the best views in the world」
