“Amazing service and beautiful grounds, but rooms need an update.
The hotel environment is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I also loved how functional and convenient the room amenities were—everything we needed was right there.
However, I did notice that the facilities are getting a bit dated. If the hotel could invest in some modern upgrades, it would be a 10/10 experience!

“Our room was absolutely beautiful, we upgraded to a balcony room and the weather was lovely so ordered take out to eat on the balcony with a few drinks. Ellen was so lovely and made us feel right at home and so welcome, she told us about places to eat locally and things to do in the area. “Our room was huge and had a comforatble bed. It looked recently renovated and was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a rainy cold day so I asked for an extra blanket. I was given the blanket and offered a space heater which was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, pizza and sub shops, and the supermarket and ferry.”

“Nice location, close to town, shopping, hospital for appointments. Etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed in one of the jacuzzi. King bed rooms. It was really relaxing and nice, it had been renovated in the fall of 2025. Plus had 1st floor door to the pool area which was nice to get some fresh air and sun. “We came here because of location, reviews and amenities. This location is NOT accommodating at all off season.
1. Restaurant closes without warning. 2.pool closes without warning - cheap towels even for a toddler to dry. 3. Stale breakfast items with no dates, no tea bags, juice machine wasn't working, waffle maker was peeling, no lids for cups. No accessibility to hot water after hrs-machine locked in restaurant. “We were not taken care of vis-a-vis check-in. We had to track down the maid to get some answers. We had to get a key from a neighboring restaurant. We tried to call the front desk, we tried to text and ask for the key code to get into our room and nobody ever responded not even after we checked out. Thank God for the maid Susan. The room was shabby: carpet stained, old sink in bathroom weird old shower head. No office to get ice. Still no contact from office. Very unprofessional.”

“Our stay at the Pequot Hotel last weekend was exceptional. The front desk team is truly amazing—warm, professional, and very friendly, which set a great tone for our visit.
The hotel has a wonderful, nostalgic feel to it; it’s like staying in your own room at your grandmother’s house. Everything is clean, quaint, and perfectly in its place. We also loved the extra touches, like the fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon.
