“Everything was great except the beds, they have not been flipped or rotated in a long time. The usual sitting and sleeping spots on the bed are overly soft, like you sink nearly to the box spring and if you turn or lean over you nearly fall right out the bed. We thought it may have just been the type of bed but the outer side of both beds are much more solid. Other than that our stay was very good.”

“Very small rooms in this old-fashioned roadside motel. Some cosmetic upgrades have taken place but there's only so much you can do for an old cinder block building. The biggest problem was heat. It's radiant heat with no way to control it. They have a fake thermostat for a central air furnace on the wall, but it does nothing. It's March and the only way to get the heat below 80 is to leave windows open! Doesn't feel to safe leaving ground level windows open. We were roasting hot. We also……

“Sa;rah at the front desk gave us a lovely room at the end of the hallway. It was amazing for the view and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay,. Elijah made a very nice espresso martini that we sipped while watching the sun set over the river. ”

I had a little hiccup upon check in and the front desk helped sort it all out to accommodate my needs and get it all figured out and in a timely manner they were all so wonderful. The breakfast host literally looked me in the eyes as he dumped another flooded pan of sausage and grease. I also found dead bugs inside the air unit inside the room.
