“We had booked here for a one night stay in July 2025 but when we arrived we loved it and decided if we could we would love to stay for another night. Chris was very accommodating and got us an another night here. This was nothing but fantastic! Excellent location, staff were phenomenal and the property was nothing but beautiful indeed and well kept. I would highly recommend this hotel and Chris and his staff were very friendly and we were treated with the utmost respect. BTW we had breakfast……

“This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous.”

“We loved our stay at the Clefstone! The staff was so kind, helpful, and available for anything you might need. We loved the fresh afternoon snacks after coming back from hiking each day and fresh coffee in the morning. We stayed in room #1 and it was the perfect size with a very comfy bed. “We stayed 4 nights at Chiltern Inn in July. What a gorgeous property! We felt like royalty on vacation. Our room was charming and cozy. All rooms in the house were beautifully decorated with elegant furniture, antiques, and delightful artworks. All amenities were clean and well taken care of. Our hosts, Joan and Dan were very kind and caring- a wonderful hot breakfast was served every morning, a complimentary wine was waiting the guests in afternoon; their knowledge of Bar Harbor and Acadia NP……
