Well designed, warm, studio and furnished to a high standard. The air fryer was a revelation!Few details would have made it 5 star- plates are cracked, some items were not clean on arrival (chopping board, teapot) and an extra blanket/more logs would have be nice given it was winter. “This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage. Everything one could need in the cottage and in such a beautiful location. Walks from the front door! A short drive into Windermere and the rest of the Lake District too. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again.
