“From the moment we stepped on the property we knew that this would be a place where we could relax. The home was very clean and had many supplies for us to use. The boat dock was perfect for our boat and the outside patio area is where we spent most of our time. This was a great place to kick your feet up and relax at the lake!”

“We had a wonderful time on Orchard Island! Such a friendly area. Our trip was to see the eclipse and we were not disappointed. We would love to come back in the summer and actually use the lake! We were saddened by all the tornado damage in the area but Chris was so helpful about keeping us updated on the house and businesses in the area. We were happy to come and support the area.”

“We had a great stay. Everything was really clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes you could need. The fire pit and screened in porch gave us options for hanging out outside to view the lake. The host was very communicative and shared lots of info with us before our stay, and has even more info available in the house. Check in was very easy and there wasn’t much to do upon checkout like some other places. If you have mobility issues, please listen to their warning about……

“Our family had a family wedding to attend in Richwood, Ohio, which was approx. 40 minutes from this property. The property provided a perfect set-up for our family to enjoy some nice R&R together after assisting with decorating the wedding venue, etc. ... the nice continental breakfast was a PLUS and the property was spacious, comfortable, and very clean! It was a joy getting to meet the owners, Dan and Annette, just before we left!!!”

“No luxuries at all. The toilet in the hall was like riding A bucking bronco. It’s clearly not attached to the floor & is leaking somewhere. The kitchen was seriously infested with teeny tiny ants…eeeew! Not enough towels & extra blankets. Tons of goose poop in the yard leading to the lake…like a mine field. The fire pit was great & we enjoyed using it each evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with our family.”

“We really enjoyed the cottage! My very tall 6’4 guys (husband and son) did have a little trouble fitting in the shower and were a little worried about getting water everywhere, but overall I would give it 5 ⭐️! A minor thing that really only applies to very tall big men. Cyndi was incredibly kind, a fabulous brownie maker and even supplied us with extra towels and doggie toys. We found the cottage to be well stocked and had plenty of room. My husband and I had no trouble acclimating to a……
