Wonderful home, but with caveats...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has a lot of great qualities, most of them evident from the photos. I love the location as well. Casa Marina is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Key West. Quiet, pretty, close to the water. The big negative for me was the memory foam mattress in the primary bedroom. Though it seemed nice at first, actually sleeping on it was hot and uncomfortable-caused shoulder pain from the way it compresses the body. I was solo, so I slept on the smaller, firmer mattress in the second BR. Smaller issues: the front door lock is difficult to work. Microwave is tiny and underpowered. Kitchen refrigerator is just two drawers; not a problem for me, but a factor to be aware of. A few cabinet doors are losing their laminate. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay, but only because I had the second bed option. If the owner were to replace the mattress with a firmer/traditional one, I would stay again.
