「Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!」

「Our stay at The Cabin was just great! The weather allowed the three kids in our party to play outside for hours and hours—they loved the lawn when the tide was high and the beach when the tide was low. Everyone was charmed by the log cabin interior and the stairs to the third bedroom were fun for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and we appreciated the seating options since there were seven of us. I’m not sure when we’ll have the opportunity to go back but would consider The Cabin again!」

「This property is exactly as described and we loved our short stay. Some highlights were the amazingly comfortable beds, the daybed in the sunroom, the sunroom overlooking the bay, the hot tub, playing games, foraging for and eating fresh (and grilled) oysters, walks on the beach, seeing bald eagles and seals, kayaking, the kitchen, taking senior pictures in such an incredible location and so much more… cleanliness is a clear priority to this host and that was appreciated. 「Such a cute little house. We only ran into a couple of issues. There were bugs that found their way into the house (like a lot of lady bugs) but the weather was just warming up. The other was that the shower was slow to drain. If you have more people staying, the only bathroom is located inside the main bedroom, so if people take late night bathroom trips that can be an issue. We loved the location and the property was so clean. The views were stunning and the hot tub was a huge plus!...

「Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit.」

「This property under-promised and over-delivered. For example, the sofa bed is actually in a separate room with a door, so it's a three-bedroom cabin by typical VRBO standards. It's in a nice area surrounded by woods, but convenient to 101 and Triton State Park, etc. There is a family of moose that would wander by in the mornings, which were nice to look at though the kitchen window.」

「We got to the property late at night. Male neighbors had direct view of us as they talked loudly out on their backyard. At one point during the night there were gunshots. As a woman, I wouldn’t have felt safe staying there alone. Exterior lighting at lockbox was aimed poorly, we could not see lock dials so we had to use our flashlight on our smart phones to see the lock. Property has some questionable construction that i am sure is not up to code. Stairs to upstairs rooms are blocking entrance...

「There was Zero help from anyone.The toilet broke on our first day(monday)still wasn't working on Wednesday.We called in to the managers.Nothing but promises.SO we had to run into town whenever we had to go.(or out in the woods).The water system is not legal. I wouldn't even take a shower in it.The ice trays were froxen brown ice.The owners comments say "If you don't like it go into town and buy water.It's Mid May and the lawns have yet to be mowed.There is NO access to the beach because the...

「The Hood Canal Beachfront Bungalow is a great place to stay if you are looking for a few quiet days. The cabin was very clean, and everything I needed for cooking was there. I really enjoyed the fireplace and the telescope. But most of all, the quiet was amazing. I would definitely recommend!」
