    Traveling light works beautifully here. The studio opens into one welcoming room where the Murphy bed hides in its pine cabinet until bedtime, so there is space for the kids to play on the floor while dinner comes together in the kitchenette. A table for four hosts card games and cereal bowls alike.

    The Springs complex feels like a resort of its own: swim in the heated outdoor pool while snow dusts the aspens, soak in the shared hot tubs, or send the teens to the game room while you unwind in the steam room. Children's toys and a kids' play area are on site, and the Dakota Lodge pool and spas are included too.

Great location and awesome pool!

Overall our experience was great! We will definitely be back. Heads up the beds are not good, but we loved it for the location and the lodge itself. Pool was awesome!

No stove, oven or dishwasher

The ski-in-out location is great. However, the kitchen did NOT have a stove, oven, or dishwasher as advertised - only a counter top microwave and a small toaster-oven. In the 20 some years we've been renting ski condos, we've NEVER had one missing these basic services so we were quite surprised. Had we known this we would NOT have rented this unit. The fold-out couch also broken and would not fold out level. It was very uncomfortable and should have been obvious to anyone servicing the unit. The other furnishing were serviceable but also in need of updating and the carpet could use a good cleaning. Overall we where very disappointed.

The location was amazing and the check in process was so easy! We love staying so close to the lifts and being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops.

BUYER BEWARE!

I'm not one to write bad reviews. In fact, in most cases I try to take the high road and if I find something unsatisfactory I simply don't write a review at all. This case is an exception, however, because of how bad it was, how false and misleading the ad was, and how the problem was ignored and never resolved by SummitCove's negligent and incompetent management team. In dire need of a staycation, I found this property on VRBO. Judging by the misleading photos posted on VRBO, the property promised to be clean, peaceful and inviting, but as it turned out nothing could be further from the truth. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a piece of granite. The peaceful, lagoon-like pool area and hot tub that was advertised in the photos obviously has no time limits for the users and there were no less that three dozen people using them at any given time, most of whom were screaming children. And while most properties try to observe some social distancing standards or ask their guests to be courteous and sensitive to the spread of COVID, this is clearly not a concern to the folks at SummitCove. Such a blatant lack of regard for guests' safety and well being makes me wonder how careless they may also be when it comes to sanitizing their rooms. We were hoping for a bit of peace and quiet when the mobs of screaming kids left the pool and hot tub around 10pm, but then the noise started in the hallways and persisted throughout the night. The noise was so unbearable and bed was so uncomfortable, we were compelled to pack our bags at 2am and drive home. I tried to reason with the management at SummitCove, but was essentially ignored. I was told by management it was my fault for not assuming the bed could be hard as slab of stone, as if mattresses filled with lumpy rocks is an industry standard for overpriced rooms such as this. I was told by management they have no control over the number of people who use their pool and hot tub at one time, even though their written disclosures imply otherwise, as do their acknowledgments of social distancing requirements due to COVID. I was told by management that being compelled to leave at 2am was my fault because it was up to me to call security and complain about the noise problem, as if it's the guests' job to patrol their hallways for noisy guests. Their resolution to this problem was a measly $25 refund, which, by the way, I never received, so even that offering turned out to be as bogus as the

Enjoyed our stay here. Close to ski school and in village. Place was clean and comfortable and convenient!
