Flip Flop to the Beach

Too Many Problems

While the space is just what we needed there was a leak in the ceiling upon arrival. The queen bed was wet on one side. Thankfully there was a mattress protector so a change of sheets was all it needed but the ceiling was still leaking water. The handy man assumed it was the AC dripping from the vent, moved the bed diagonally out of the way of the leak and said keep us updated. It was still leaking two days later and we noticed another leak in the kitchen nook area. The bench to the table was completely soaked. A different handy man came out and discovered a broken pipe in the ceiling. Once fixed both leaks stopped. On top of that the dish washer didn't work. It didn't seem like water was connected to it. After calling a third time now I told them not to come out as I had already wasted enough of my vacation time waiting on handy men. Aside from issues at the house the walk to the beach was not long but along a busy road with no side walk. I will not stay at this home again and after getting no compensation or response after our stay from Seaside Vacations I don't think I will rent from them again.
