“Overdelivered in every respect. From check in where our dogs were welcomed with their own beds and hamper, to a delicious dinner in a lovely atmosphere, followed by a night in an incredibly comfortable bed and a top notch breakfast.....we loved it all.”

“The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!”

“Staff were amazing, the restaurant manager, Alfie and Caroline in the restaurant, stand out. But I have to say all the staff in every department couldn’t do enough. The property is amazing with amazing views across a beautiful valley. I had an exceptional breakfast two days running and Sunday lunch all of which were delicious and incredible value. The portions were superb and I was very full after every meal! I was in the Elliot suite which was amazing with lovely extra touches such as a……

“Overall hotel room is okay but not too happy to assign to floor 0 as I found bugs inside the room from time to time. Initially, I want to extend my stay but I finally moved to nearby hotel for extra nights as I don’t want to stay in floor 0. The most important is they are not providing service to keep guests’ baggage, so I need to walk round to keep them at the airport wait till check in. They should mention it on their booking page.”
