「Our Princess Suite room was wonderful - nice size, nice bed and view over the harbor, in this comfortable and well appointed small guest house right in the center of Tarbert town. We would happily return! 」

From the night check in staff to the lovely hostess at our breakfast to the dear gentleman serving us drinks n dinner at the bar, each one was so friendly and gave us great service. The night porter also assisted with pick up and drop off from the lodges to the restaurant on Friday as it was very wet so that was appreciated. 「This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.」
