Cottage at "Witch's Quay". In the Arthur Ransome book "Secret Water", this cottage is inhabited by an old woman, who helps the children, and the shed plays a role as a depot for goods bought in from the town. (See Chapter XIV, for example.) In the book, Kirby Quay is called "Witch's Quay". Compare: 534659

Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, ...

Great place for a weekend stay.
Michael was great as a host and had terrific communication. The unit is spacious and well laid out. The only issue was the couch. It looked great but was uncomfortable. The propertv is a block away from the entertainment district. Perfect place for a weekend get away.
