"Room was pretty clean, some of the staff spoke English, air conditioning worked perfect, great location near subway station and night life yet quiet at night. Hair dryer was getting hot during use and would barely blow air, noticed it was extremely clogged so I had to clean it with a toothbrush so air would flow out, only after that it worked perfectly. Area was awesome highly recommend. Lots of food and markets. Wish they had a scale to weigh bags like the other APA hotel in Osaka. "

"The location of the hotel could not be more desirable. Alongside the temple and all its beauty. It is simple to spend both the day and return at night to enjoy the rich history and grandeur just steps away. The hotel itself is a perfect getaway to the hustle of Asakusa and Tokyo overall. Rooms are spacious and the Onsen space was more elaborate than thought when booking. Multiple pools of varying temperatures and a sauna. A great escape and relaxation area after hours of adventure on your feet. Highest praise for this wonderful location."

"The most entitled, unaware and rude guests accentuated by the lack of staff onsite! There is no staff onsite, no communication, and no enforcement of any rules. I contacted them multiple times during my stay and was ignored completely. People take phone calls in their beds, don’t use headphones, pack loudly late at night, and ignore any basic sense of shared-space etiquette. There are effectively no quiet hours. Ps. X 26 beds = 26 people talking and doing whatever they want when you are trying to rest. There’s no switch to turn lights on and off, stays on the whole time - Sleeping here is a struggle, even with earplugs. I’ve stayed in countless hostels in Europe, Central and South America and people are considerate and way more polite - after 10pm you enter the room using a flashlight and have to remain quiet. ALL REAL TRAVELERS KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT A HOTEL AND YOU MUST RESPECT OTHERS. Cleanliness and location are fine, but that’s where the positives end. Also worth noting: no kitchen, no water fountain, and fully self-service check-in/out with zero support. If you’re expecting a hostel experience with even minimal structure or consideration, look elsewhere."
