"This hotel is directly connected to Sunshine City Shopping Center. That is a major plus for many who don't want to walk very far to shop. About a 10 minute walk is Ikebukuro station, and near it is Ikebukuro Animate street, where all the anime stores are at. It is one of the best lodgings for the average anime fan. Staff are amazing, lots of them too so you can reach them with little wait time. There's a shuttle bus service at the hotel for those who need to go to Haneda or Narita. Rooms are very similar to 4 star hotels in North America,. There's also a family Mart located within the hotel. Too much convenience here, hence top ratings from me."

"As always, wonderful front desk staff and clean rooms. I ran into the housekeeping staff for the first time in years, and they were so friendly and kind! I also checked out the laundry room for the first time, although I didn't use it--I think it's such a nice amenity to have. I also love the little items available in the room, like the hair elastics and green tea powder sachets."

"Great location! Friendly staff, small but cozy and clean rooms. Nice amenities in lobby for you to use if you forgot any. 5 min walk to ikebukuro station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very close to sunshine city! Would stay here again. "
