We were very pleased with Hostel Deco. Check in was easy, our room was clean and there were two bathrooms on our floor. I like the design of the renovation of the building. It is clear that careful thought was put in to making it a welcome and unique space. We will be back!

Tout était niquel sauf la douche qui a un debit d'eau à s'en faire mal à la peau et la lumière de la salle de bain qui s'éteint toutes les 2-3 minutes et qu'il faut sortir de la douche pour la rallumer. Sinon tout était parfait que ce soit la chambre, l'insonorisation, le personnel, l'emplacement de l'hôtel et le prix.

People who work there were very kind with me, and public spaces were clean. People who stay there is safe, and also the situation that you can breathe it's really nice. Unique negative thing is that due to work, was not possible open the window of the room, so the smell of people who stay before me in the room stay there. My partner and I were quite pleased with our stay here! The staff were super friendly and helpful when we had questions about the transit system. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean. Very close to Krakow main square (ie., in walking distance).

A lovely, friendly hostel. I had a private ensuite room which was quite spacious. The bathroom was spotless, and very modern. I walked there from the train station, and it took me around 12 minutes. But local transport options pass by the hostel. The old town is also about a 10 minute walk away. They have a 24hr reception which is great for late arrivals.

From helping us out with a short-notice extra night because I'd gotten my dates mixed up, to ringing around to help us organise bike hire and an endless amount of knowledge on local attractions and opportunities, the staff the Hostel Deco were friendly, astute and flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed the quaint attic-room "pidgeon coop" which was quiet and had lovely views from the 5th floor. You do need to be prepared to deal with stairs - 110 to our room, but well worth it.

Dear Sir/Madam, I stayed at Hostel Deco in Kraków, with check-out scheduled for 11:00 AM on September 13th, 2025. After checking out, we left our luggage at the property and went out for a walk. We returned to the hostel around 5:00 PM to rest until the departure time of our bus at 10:00 PM. During the shift change, the evening receptionist informed us that we could not remain in the common areas of the hostel, even after check-out, and asked us to leave immediately. This approach was abrupt and caused us discomfort, especially considering that the previous receptionist had not mentioned any such restriction. I would like to formally express my dissatisfaction with the way we were treated and request clarification regarding the hostel’s policies on the use of common areas after check-out. Safe, quiet and pleasant

Not very central but about 20mins walk away from centre or train station. Quiet and safe area. Staff friendly and helpful on a 24/7 reception desk. Towels on refundable cash deposit. Bit battered on closer inspection but clean in our bedroom and shared bathroom. Shared kitchen not so clean but very nice to have the option of that. Shared garden very pleasant. The biggest problem was not enough sockets in the room, only 2 for a 4-bed room - please put some more in! Could improve the shared bathrooms: lack of bath mat or hand towels and more shelves/hooks needed. Overall happy with stay and would come back :)

Un muy buen hostal, con una buena ubicación cerca del centro de la ciudad, un precio economico y un buen ambiente. El personal de recepcion te ayudan siempre que lo necesitas. Mi nota seria un 9 si no fuera por un gran detalle, el baño. La ducha es realmente surrealista, consiste en un chorro a una potencia desmesurada, que no puedes cambiar y el agua solo sale durante unos 30 segundos, es decir, tienes que estar apretando el boton todo el rato. Y no acaba ahi la cosa, el lavabo tambien tiene tela. El agua solo sale caliente y cada vez que lo pulsas sale mas y mas caliente, es casi una broma de mal gusto. Añado que tienen muy poco espacio de almacenamiento, un aramrio ridiculo y una mesita enana.

Good value for the price

I stayed in a six bed dorm and I am satisfied with the overall experience. It is everything you would expect from a hostel but with a few things that elevated the experience: 1. Clean shared bathrooms. Unlike the smelly and dark bathrooms I experienced in other hostels, the bathrooms here are modern, bright and cleaned every day 2. Common room with comfy sofa, TV and game consoles (I have not used them so I can't vouch if they work). 3. "Cafeteria" - Located one floor below the reception, I believe only open at day time. What I can say for sure is, in case you have not been impressed by the shared bathrooms outside of your room, the toilets here are as clean as the others and with stunning lighting. 4. Locker room for luggage - Next to the cafeteria, there are plenty of storage spaces. Not sure if you need to pay extra for it. 5. Garden - place to sit outdoor and hang your washing (important for later). There are also bike racks! 6. Towel can be borrowed free of charge, the catch is you need to leave a deposit (cash only) and will be fully refunded when you return it. 7. Convenient location - Multiple bus and tram stations within 10 minutes of walking Here are some minor complaints : 1. Room can be hot in the summer. However, it is uncommon for Polish buildings with AC or electric fans anyway. 2. Luggage space in the shared dorm is quite limited and inevitably will take up some common space 3. Washing machine is available but no dryer is available.
