Beds very hard, staff very good, room cleaning was inconsistent. Fresh towels always had stains, for the price l probably wouldn’t stay there again. Pool and gardens good. Breakfast was quite good included in the price. Location great just across the road from the beach.

The walls are very thin and a lot of loud tourists like to have late night conversations very loudly in their balconies...which was awful when I was trying to sleep. Hotel staff were pleasant and the room was clean and close to nice street food.

After staying at multiple properties around Bali, we found the staff bright, happy and super friendly, from restaurant staff to security guys, all amazing. Great restaurant with comprehensive well priced menu, only downside was tax after the bill, most places don’t charge it but here still does. Room was good, bed was old and creaky but very clean and spacious.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. It has a large and lovely pool and restaurant. The rooms have terraces and are quite spacious. Amenities are limited. There is a water heater, a refrigerator, and a TV (multiple channels). There are bath towels and shampoo in the shower room. There are no toothbrushes, hand towels, tissues, facial soap, or tea. There is a supermarket nearby, but the road is dark, narrow, and lonely at night. If you go down the path in front, you can get to the sea. I will use it again.

I immediately felt relaxed. The proximity to the airport is a plus, close but at the hotel you don't hear or see a plane. Yet you can wander down to the beach at sunset and watch the planes fly in. At the hotel, I walked slowly, breathed slowly, ate slowly, my mind was quiet yet in the next street there was a busy world and I didn't even know it until I stumbled across it. The breakfast was adequate, some pastries, salad, 4 hot choices and an omelet station. The breeze was welcome and the space overlooked the pool. The pool was clean. The grounds were lush. It was so quiet I thought I was the only one there but it wasn't until breakfast that I realised how many people were there. Typical balinese service: nothing is too much trouble. The beach was close and quiet with mainly locals. Discovery mall and Waterbom walking distance as is the chaotic tourist hub of Kuta if you want it. A short gojek ride or a long walk to the Turtle Conservation Centre worth a visit and a donation. Next time I will stay longer. If you are looking for a helpful local ask for Endi, he is one of 12 boys. His family runs various businesses and are long time locals. His friend, Nani runs a tailoring business. His neice, Lia. runs Billy Optic, and a sweet lady, Enjoy has a little dress shop turn right out the hotel gate and then right again and she is opposite the fruit juice store. She is from Ubud, lives in Sanur and works in Tuban so can give info. Palm Beach Hotel Bali? Loved it!
Nighttime on Jerman Beach, no crowds, mostly local young people and families - safe, I travelled solo.
Calming everywhere you go
15 min walk along the foreshore past five star hotels to Discovery Mall and Waterbom Park

Staff was very kind and helpful. Pool and the hotel area was nice and close to beach, main street and mall. Linen and towels was newly washed, but had several spots and looked dirty.
