“We stayed in the garden suite and had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The room was spacious, the mattress was comfortable and the water pressure was great. The provided breakfast was minimal, but was a nice touch. We found the price a bit high for what we got (although, the price was far more reasonable compared to many hotels on the Isle of Skye) and the location was a bit far and remote, so we had to do additional driving to get to sites/restaurants, etc.”

“The hotel is very comfortable, the facilities are very good, the windows can see the mountain view, the scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.”

“Nice property, everything was close and food was really good. Bathroom fan turned on but didn’t help to reduce moisture at all and room didn’t have access to heat control as I just wanted to take the chill from the room for a wee bit and couldn’t.”

“The property is a bit dated. The carpet on stairway is frayed and should be replaced. The bedroom was tiny. The bed was comfortable. The staff seemed uninterested in checking me into the hotel, and I had wait and ask several times for assistance. Same with checkout. The restaurant’s food was good, esp the local seafood.”

The staff at dinner and breakfast were nice and polite and done their job very well. Thank you to all the team who made our stay relaxing. ”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
