Great room size for our family. 4 beds! And a reasonable price. A few blocks away from the subway, and from shops. A few places to eat nearby, but not a ton. There were convenience stores and a grocery store though. Whole family enjoyed the onsen on the top floor. Was nicer than I expected.

Everything was great. The room was a bit small but it worked for me (I was traveling solo). The shower head could use some adjustment so it doesn't spray outside of the bathtub. The location was perfect. It was central and made the rest of the city very accessible.

The hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, with short walks to many interesting areas. The rooms are small by US standards, but well laid out so that we were able to be comfortable there for 10 days. But those with 2 beds are preferable to the one were were in with only one large bed. The staff vacuumed and replenished the room every day, and the front desk regularly hailed taxis for us, telling them where we wanted to go. Very convenient to public transportation as well.

It is a beautiful hotel! Very convenient location, close to subway stations, shopping and Nishiki market. Our room was spacious (we stayed in the force room), having two toilets was great. Spa/onsen at the hotel was very nice and relaxing.
