The property is ok. You get what you pay. The staff is not the most friendly however. When we arrived to check in (after 10 PM) the front desk lady told us that the check in closed at 10 pm. Probably I’m not very familiar with Japanese customs regarding check in times, but I haven’t had the same experience in other properties across the country. I didn’t found any other information about that in our checkin information. She checked us in anyway, but in the most unfriendly manner. The same cold attitude was received during our two night stay.

The hotel is beautiful. The common areas are very cozy and offer tea and coffee all the time. Very comfortable rooms. The onsen is very good.
