"I was very happy with the property, the only minor note is that I wish we had free water bottles daily like other hotels, though this is offset by the free drinks downstairs which I was happy about. Overall a great stay."

"Very nicely appointed modern design and a great location near shopping areas and Sanjo subway and bus stops. We would have liked a room with a view of the city instead of the inside parking courtyard and more vegetable breakfast options for pure vegetarian/vegan folks. For non-veg folks the breakfast buffet was great. We did not have much staff interaction unlike at some of our other stays in Tokyo and Kawaguchiko. But whatever little interactions we had they were very positive. Will stay there again in future. But will ask for a room with better view. "

"Amazing! We got the garden room for 6 nights and it was the best choice ever, near to the train station, Nishiki Market, and lots of shopping places and restaurants, we did a lot of walking just so we could enjoy the view and the city. The river that is just a few blocks away can comec"

"Great location that is a bus ride away from Gion. Loved the access to the underground subway walkway and daily free sake from the sake serving machine downstairs. It is great that there is a coffee machine in the lobby but the coffee is not great. Having access to washer/dryer was a plus. They worked well and you could also monitor on the availability on a webpage to know when a machine is available and when your wash is done. The staff was prompt in their service. We were able to borrow umbrellas when needed and also an iron. Overall we loved our stay in Forza and would recommend it."

"I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Very modern, nice and clean, great location, walkable to many nearby sites, and easy access to the trains. The staff was so kind and helpful and the hourly shuttle to and from Kyoto station was a huge added bonus with the nicest drivers! I loved it here so much that I decided to stay an extra night! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Kyoto and I hope to be able to return one day soon! Thank you for an amazing stay!"
