「Incredible resort. Would rush back in a heartbeat. We had the cheapest rainforest bungalow and it felt like a suit. Gorgeous bathroom, animals surrounding you, hammock outside was lovely. The breakfast was incredible, the food in the hot springs was excellent and the staff were amazing. Particularly the guides who went out of their way to help you and spot animals and birds for you. 「We were first given a cabin that was very close to the road. The traffic noise, especially early in the morning, was quite loud and made it impossible for us to sleep, even with earplugs. The jacuzzi in that cabin also wasn’t heating properly. We mentioned this to the host, who responded quickly and moved us to the other cabin that was set a bit farther from the road. Had the second cabin not been available that day, the issues would’ve been dealbreakers and we’d have gone to a hotel. After...

「Love the property. We stayed in building 6 (one of the 3 with a private hot tub on the patio). Had a small kitchen with dishes, a hot plate, and mini fridge. Most excursions will NOT pick up from this property, as it is out of the way. We had a rental car, so everything worked out. Driving to this location is not for the faint of heart. However, it is beautiful and private. Just what we were looking for. There is a small outdoor restaurant on sight. Service was a little slow and seemed focused...

「Very pleasant quiet stay with a great view of the volcano. Comfortable bed. I sat on the porch and watched the birds flying about including a hummingbird and four macaws.」

「Such a cute rustic place , away from tourist noise. Lots of greens around to please both the eyes and the soul. Breakfast option is on point , you cannot go wrong with typical breakfast ! 「Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!」
