“The house is beautiful and spacious! The hosts were responsive and warm . They offered wonderful recommendations for the area and they live nearby and were immediately responsive when we needed assistance with the a/c. We loved sitting on the second story balcony sipping wine and watching the world go by. The kitchen was well stocked and useful.One thing to note . There are stairs and you need to use care if you aren’t used to using stairs. Great restaurants and shops within easy walking……

“So convenient to be one block from the street car. The highlight of the adventure. The owner/host of the Fairchild house was very nice to relocate us to another room in another building away from the overwhelming smell of mold and mildew from the Fairchild house. The despairity between the 8.8 rating and actual condition of the property should be of concern to anyone even considering staying there. “Our stay at the Terrell House was wonderful. Michelle and the staff made sure our arrival went smoothly and explained everything we needed to know. You're pretty close to great restaurants and shops (about a half mile - walk or Uber). They recommended Gris Gris and it was great - we ate their twice in 3 days. Finally, the breakfasts were superb. When we come back to New Orleans, we'll stay here again.”
