“L’appartement de petite dimension comprend 2 chambres. Les lits sont de grandeur entre le lit double et le lit queen. Il est situé en haut de la place República, endroit où environ 20-25 personnes se réunissent à longueur de journée pour placoter ou fumer (il n’est pas possible d’ouvrir les fenêtres en raison de l’odeur). L’appartement est situé à proximité de 2 petites épiceries et en face d’un excellent restaurant le Casa do Abel ! L’appartement était propre.”

“Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Ponta del Gada and we had a room with a view of the harbor, which was fun. The front desk staff were really helpful, setting us up with ebikes and parking. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the cooked to order omelettes. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was one of our best meals. Only complaint is that the bathroom was too dark - hard to get ready when you can hardly see yourself! But this was minor and we had a great stay.”

“Andrea was very helpful as she allowed us to do an early check in, explained about local things to do. Breakfast was OK. Jacuzzi, pool operative but not whirlpool.”

“The blue penthouse was outstanding. The daily cleaning and breakfast were amazing perks. Access to the beach was a real plus. Morning adventures and afternoon by the beach made an amazing holiday. The property thinks of everything beach towels concierge services.”

Had very few amenities for what was called “a five-star hotel”. Had to continually ask for towels, tissue, and toilet paper. Disappointing. However, the concierge staff was helpful in activity planning.”

“We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved, as there is room for more variety and better options. The location is good for exploring Ponta Delgada city and its historical sites, with many attractions easily accessible. However, if you plan to explore other parts of the island, I highly recommend renting a small car,(free street parking after 8pm. The parking meter kick in 8am, so just get your parking……
