The girl that it was at the front desk was super nice, the cleaning ladies were the best, being Americans we like a lot of towels and they gave us all the towels that we needed. Very clean location, this is the town that I was born and as always people are very nice and will go out of their ways to make people welcome.

Nice and clean, staff is very helpful, breakfast was okay but little limited and repetitive. The building in general is very well positionend good condition, in a bit humid causing some odor.

Very nice room. A good value but it isn’t close to many touristy areas. There’s a good pizzeria a block up and staff were very nice.

The treatment of the employees has been excellent. The location and the parking have made it easy to get around the island. As points to improve, the room smelled excessively of humidity, and at least ours, being located next to the door, at night there was a lot of noise (suitcases, cars, motorcycles, people...)

Thought we were getting a Double bed, ended up getting a King size! Free parking on site. Free breakfast. Friendly staff and cheaper than other accommodations in the area. If we are ever in the area again and need a place to stay we wouldn't hesitate to book again! Very happy!

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond for us, especially André. We arrived without a car since there was a complication with our original rental booking. André booked a car for us that was perfect for our needs and had the company pick us up right there. Further, our room was lovely and the building is quite beautiful. We liked staying in quiet Lagoa. The breakfast selection was very limited, but for the price we were paying for our stay, I didn't mind.

We liked the property and location, staff was nice, but we could hear everything in the room next to us as if the others guests were inside our room! Very thin walls and there is a door that communicates rooms which I’m assuming that’s why it was so noisy.

Room was mostly clean. Some mould in bathroom, and very dusty skirting and sills. Bedding was clean. Staff member on check in was friendly and helpful. The other staff during my stay seemed disinterested. Breakfast is terrible. Defrosted bread rolls, sliced cheese and ham. Which there is usually none of, even when there's over an hour of breakfast to go. Yogurt left on the shelf with no cooling, and some very brown bananas. Staff would put out a few more yogurts, but there was nothing else replenished. Location is fine if you have your own transport. Groceries and a restaurant not too far away. Overall, just ok for somewhere to sleep.

We loved how easy the check in was! We arrived late however we received very detailed instructions on the check in process which made it simple despite a late arrival. The staff were kind and helpful even opening breakfast early to accommodate those of use leaving early for flights. Would recommend to anyone needing an over lay accommodation or simply something just outside ponta delgada.

Clean & Spacious Room and Private Bath

Spacious clean room with a nice shower that had glass on two sides. Really enjoyed the Juliet balcony to enjoy view to the sea. Lots of parking for our rental car and easy walk to good restaurants. I’ll look at staying here again when back in Lagoa.

I loved the charm of the old building in a traditional Portuguese style, with the recent remodeling to retain the charm but offer modern comfort. I also loved the owner who provided excellent friendly service and even gave us a free ride to a nearby fish restaurant we had asked about. This was a memorable stay for us on a paradise-like island we had known nothing about before our stay. We are hoping to return in the future. We loved this place.

Es un sitio con una ubicación excelente, fácil acceso y parking en las instalaciones. El check in es facilisimo y tienes un código para entrar. El desayuno siempre es el mismo cada día, es sencillo pero rico. Las habitaciones están muy bien, son amplias pero el colchón es terrible, eso hace que el descanso sea deficiente. Deberían cambiar los colchones porque están llenos de muelles que no dejan dormir bien. Excepto el tema de descansar mal por los colchones el lugar es que nos gustó.

Estuvimos una noche de paso a nuestra llegada a Saõ Miguel, es cómodo porque está cerca del aeropuerto y las habitaciones son muy correctas. Tiene parquing. Como inconveniente, estábamos en un segundo piso y no tenía ascensor.
