Beautiful Penthouse with sea view and 30 meters from the beach.

Luxury penthouse of 120 m2 in a beautiful location (30 meters to the beach) with beautiful sea view and panoramic view of the Centre of Carvoeiro with the beach on your doorstep! There is parking facility in a Garage Box less then 100 m from the penthouse. The penthouse also has solar panels and a solar water heating system, therefore it is a very environmentally friendly home.
The Penthouse Casa Amarela is located on the third and top floor. It has a nice round 50m2 living room with a fantastic view. Surrounding is 100m2 terrace with outside shower and breathtaking views. There is internet TV so you can continue your favorite (sport) programs. Fast Wifi is at your disposal as well.
There are also two spacious bedrooms with two modern bathrooms and a spacious fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have air conditioning. The access to the penthouse directly from the street with entrance security door + intercom, staircase and elevator leads to the penthouse on the 3rd floor.
There is a villa manager that you can reach and can answer all your questions. She speaks fluent Dutch, Portuguese and English.
Casa Amarela will be cleaned during your stay and supplied with clean towels and sheets.
There is a cot and a baby chair for the little ones. In the storage room you will find beach chairs, umbrellas, beach-toys for the youngest and a Weber bbq.

Within walking distance of less than one minute from Casa Amarela are several restaurants, bars and shops boutiques etc. There are many picturesque and beautiful beaches nearby. The nearest is in front of the apartment just 30 meters away. The beach is sheltered by high cliffs. You can also step on one of the boats for a trip to the caves around Carvoeiro. You can make great walks over the cliffs and explore the scenery at Algar Seco or take beautiful photos at the Paraiso Beach. If you fancy exploring the area, take the car and drive through the beautiful scenery to Monchique in the mountains, or to the historic towns of Silves and Caldas. In Carvoeiro you can enjoy delicious fresh fish and shellfish food, but also in the fishing port of Ferragudo within a 10 minute drive.
The beautiful cities Lisbon and Sevilla (Spain) are both about a two and a half hour drive.

Are you a golfer?
Within a distance of 5 km there are several beautiful golf courses such as; Vale de Milho (9 hole par 27) - 5 minutes. Quinta do Gramacho (18 holes par 72) and Pinta (18 holes par 71) both within 10 minutes drive. You can also choose one of the other Championship courses a 30 minute drive; Palmares and Penina and the beautiful courses (35 minutes drive) at Quinta do Largo and Vale do Lobo.

A day out with the kids?
The children can enjoy a day in one of the theme parks in the area. They will enjoy the Zoo Marine Park (dolphins, orcas, sea lions) Slide and Splash Water Park, Krazy World all within 10-30 minutes drive from Carvoeiro.

Groceries.
Opposite Casa Amarela are several small 'Mom and Dad 'supermarkets. Furthermore, within a 5 min drive there is a big Intermarché and within a 10 minute drive there is a Aldi and Apolonia supermarket (large and luxurious). If you don't have a car at your disposal than take one of the special buses that wil bring you there.

Medical assistance.
30 meters away in the main street is a medical practice with GPs.

Transport
Right in front of Penthouse Casa Amarela there is a bus stop and you will also find city taxis that can take you to the airport, golf course, etc. But Uber taxi is also good and reliable. You do not need to hire a car, but if you want to make trips it is convenient. There is free parking along the main street and near the Penthouse.

Within walking distance of less than 1 minute there are several restaurants, bars and shops.
In the Penthouse you will find our house book. It has information about the house but also where to go and where to eat.

A Piece of Portuguese Paradise

Another wonderful month relaxing in comfort at the lovely Casa Amarela in Carvoeiro. It is just as described if not better with no surprises. The owner Rennie and her management team are second to none. They can be reached with ease and their mission is to make your stay as seamless as possible. We would not hesitate to return.

The lift broke down and we were stuck in there for an hour with my elderly father and two young children. Couldn't use the lift for rest of the trip that made it inconvenient for my elderly father. They have had problems before and they should have warned us. TV wasn't working for most part so not great for kids or father in the downtime. Otherwise everything else

We’d return in a heartbeat!

We spent eight nights at Casa Amarela. We celebrated our 50th wedding Anniversary with friends of 45 years. It was a relaxing time with day visits to some of the Algarve’s coastal cities. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and the views from the wrap around patio were spectacular. Many great restaurants nearby. Fábrica Velha Bakery every day..great communication with Rennie and Gaby.

Simply the Best

We have enjoyed holidays at Casa Amarela for a number of years and it remains our favourite holiday destination. From the moment you step into the Pent House you have everything you need for a perfect holiday. There is an excellent rap around balcony with a large dining area and plenty of room for the 4 large sunbets plus a perfect view of the sea. Inside you can enjoy the beautiful lounge and a very well equipped kitchen. Then there are two very comfortable bedrooms each with their own shower. There are shops, cafes and excellent restaurants all within walking distance and a lovely beach, great for everyone to enjoy. We are already booked again for next year.

Fabulous!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful penthouse and made great use of the fantastic terrace where we spent our days relaxing!! We found some lovely restaurants and enjoyed a little exploring of the coastline. The house exceeded our expectations on all levels, it was very well equipped and had everything that we needed for a great stay. Communication with Rennie leading up to our stay was very easy and we had all the information we needed well ahead of our arrival. It was lovely to meet Laura the property manager too who was only too helpful. We would 100% return!!

Schöne Herbstwoche im Penthouse

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft wenn man ohne Mietwagen auskommen möchte. Geschäfte, Restaurants und Strand sind füssläufig erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben und bebildert und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Dazu mein Sehnsuchtsort Carvoeiro und der Urlaub war perfekt.

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage

Wir sind zu Dritt als Familie gereist und waren von der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung begeistert. Die Terrasse ist grandios. Leider war die Wohnung nicht sauber geputzt. Hier war wohl der kurze Zeitraum von Abreise / Anreise und die Tatsache von nicht allzu sauberen Besuchern vor unserem Aufenthalt Schuld. Auf unser Anliegen wurde aber nochmal Bad und Boden geputzt und wir fühlten uns wohl und gut aufgehoben. Der Service durch die Agentur ist super! Vielen Dank dafür an Gaby & Laura! Die Lage ist grandios. Mitten im Zentrum, kurze Wege zu allem was man braucht. Was aber auch bedeutet, dass das Schlafzimmer zur Vorderseite nicht genutzt werden kann, wenn man seine Nachtruhe schätzt. :) Wir sind dann nach hinten ins 2. Schlafzimmer, dort war es ruhig. Die Küche ist ebenso gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht.

Lovely apartment

Enjoyed our week. Apartment was beautifully light and well equipped. The balcony/terrace is the USP though. Really big and gets the sunlight from dawn til say 7/8pm. Gabby the rentals manager was friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again. The only downside is the cost of holidaying in Portugal. For a 2 bed apartment without a pool we paid just over £1500 for 1 week. Plus eating out in Portugal is also v expensive.. Think we'll be trying Greece or Turkey next year.

Perfection in Carvoeiro!

My husband and I stayed here for two wonderful weeks - our daughter and son-in-law joining us for a week. This apartment is absolutely perfect. The terrace is huge and has beautiful views of the beach (steps away) and town. We loved sitting out there with coffee in the morning, wine before heading out to dinner, lounging in the chaise lounges with our books. There are numerous great restaurants right outside the door - we tried so many (never cooked although the kitchen was beautiful and well stocked) ) and we never had a bad experience. Everyone was very nice and friendly- and most spoke some English. Rennie and her team (Gabby and daughter) were all very welcoming- and the apartment was spotless and had every amenity you could want. We all thought it was one of the best vacations any of us have taken, and we travel to Europe every year. We hope to return soon. Thank you Rennie for everything! We loved it all! Captivated by the rustic charm of Carvoeiro

In the heart of town, Casa Amarela does not disappoint. The description, pictures and reviews are all accurate. We hesitate to embellish upon what has already been stated and then find it unavailable for our next visit! Suffice it to say that we had a wonderful holiday and that we were very comfortable and happy not only with Casa Amarela and its location but also with Rennie and all of those involved in managing and maintaining the property.

A wonderful place and great experience.

It was a wonderful 9 days in a beautiful apartment in what one might call paradise. We explored the Algarve from Sagres to Albufeira. And enjoyed every minute. Gaby was wonderful and the cleaner was wonderful. Thanks again for sharing your place. Until we come again, all the best.

Casa Amarela, our favourite place to stay x

We have been enjoying our stays at Casa Amarela in Carvoiero for more than ten years and would highly recommend it. The apartment is in the most amazing central location with views of the sea. Step outside and you are in the centre of Carvoiero with wonderful restaurants, bars and shops in fact everything you could want is on the doorstep. The apartment itself is perfect with it’s rap around balcony, outside dining and perfect sunbathing areas. Both bedrooms and the lounge have air conditioning and there’s a great kitchen providing everything you need for a perfect holiday. Needless to say we have already booked our stay for 2024. 😎

An amazing pent house apartment

This is our third time staying at the wonderful penthouse apartment. Everything was up to its usual high standard, beautifully clean ( thank you Olga). and very well equipped. We had all our meals out on the balcony looking at the sea, who could wish for more. There are some lovely restaurants close by, with the sky bar just opposite, where you can have a drink while watching the sun go down . We thoroughly recommend this apartment, you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful peaceful week in a beautiful, well appointed apartment.

I have been taking holidays in Carvoeiro since the 1980s. I have stayed in hotels, villas and apartments. This is undoubtedly the best appointed apartment I have stayed in. Very central location - which is a big bonus in times more out of season, though I think some people may find it a noisy venue in mid summer. Very close to the beach, & easy walking distance to many restaurants. The owner & property manager were both really helpful. I just loved my stay in this wonderful apartment, and cannot wait to hopefully stay there again.

Perfect getaway
