“Quiet n clean. Easy parking. But the door catch was missing, There was a deadbolt though. That’s the only deterrent. They gotta fix this if they want a good rating. ”

“There were previous reviews that commented on it not being very clean. We brought a bunch of cleaning supplies and our own linens. We ended up not needing any of it. The rooms, furniture, and linens were spotless. The only issue is there is an area under the stairs to the lower level that is inaccessible, so thing that fall onto the stairs and then down under it cannot be retrieved. It is just a design flaw and not the fault of owners. Parking and entry to the building is secure. ”

“Because I forgot to leave a tip in the room on the first day of my stay, there was one pillow missing from the bed when I came back at night, and they didn't even give me a bath towel. This hotel is terrible.”

“This was one of the most interesting places I have stayed. Every room has a unique personality and there is so much to see. There is a huge game room in the basement (pool table, etc.). The staff was great! I highly recommend the Steele Mansion.”

“When we visit the lake area, we stay at Hampton. The staff was greet! We stayed two nights and we were greeted by staff members all day long. We used the pool, it was clean, had plenty of towels and was kept at a comfortable temperature. We used the bar downstairs and had a very pleasant evening. Our room was clean, and we had lots of room. We did get the handicap room. We couldn’t figure out how to use the shower without getting the entire bathroom floor wet, so we won’t do that again! We look……
