「Gabriele is a rare gem ! Location is everything and using Gilbert Ferret or via Cavour you reach the harbour two ways or all the restaurants and along the bastioni, we were prepared for the steep stairs going up to the property from previous reviews, the roof top view is worth it !! 「The location of this hotel was perfect; it was literally in the middle of Alghero. Just a few minutes walk from all of the restaurants and stores. I was used to having bidets but I understand why they probably didn’t have one; there’s just not enough room. I didn’t have a lot of stuff so the climb up the steps wasn’t a big deal. 「I was staying for one night at the hotel in a standard double room. The hotel is a larger one and may not be the most appealing hotel from the outside. But the foyer is tidy and clean. The hotel has a bar and a elevator. The room and the bathroom was quite large and the room had a balconey. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is very close to the harbour and the city center. I have nothing to complain and can recommend the hotel.」

「Elisabetta was a wonderful hostess. She was very helpful in suggestions for places to see in the area. Breakfast was a great variety of items, including a few Sardinian things that I had never had, and the coffee was delicious. The place was convenient to the historic area of Alghero, close parking, quiet and comfortable.」
