Pete's Place Log Cabin on Whidbey Island, is a charming vacation rental with an ideal location for a honeymoon, a romantic getaway, or a quiet retreat. Here you will find a cozy, rustic, spacious one bedroom log cabin, nestled on six beautiful wooded acres in Langley, Washington.
This cabin has: 1 Bedroom (Queen bed, linens included), a well equipped kitchen with Jenn-Air electric range, microwave, full size refrigerator and a dishwasher, 1 Large bathroom with shower (towels included), a washer & dryer, gas Fireplace, living room with a TV, as well as a game cabinet and a large selection of games and cards, high speed DSL connection, outside Gas Grill, and a Fire pit – for use when there is no burning ban.
This cozy log cabin is warm and comfortable. It has a large wrap-around deck, which is perfect for enjoying the surrounding woods. This rental includes all the best in amenities. Close to beaches, trails, shopping, golfing, fishing, scenic drives, and varying places of interest.This cabin provides serene accommodations that are a sanctuary from the busyness of life where you can delight in the peaceful sounds of nature. The cabin has beautiful natural surroundings with paths and trails you can walk. Across the street from the driveway entrance you will find 600 hundred acres of trails called the Putney Woods & Metcalf Trust Trail System - http://www.putneywoods.org / - a popular area that has been designated for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
This cabin is only about four miles from the beautiful and picturesque town of Langley which overlooks the scenic Saratoga Passage on Puget Sound. Central Whidbey Island also has many places to see and explore, including the historic town of Coupeville. North Whidbey Island has much to offer as well. There are several beautiful State Parks and the popular tourist attraction, Deception Pass Bridge. Oak Harbor is also the home of the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. North of Oak Harbor is the waterfront town of Anacortes. Anacortes is the crown jewel of Fidalgo Island, and the easternmost island of the San Juan Islands. It is home to the Washington State Ferry terminal which serves the rest of the San Juans and Sidney/Victoria, British Columbia.

Magical cabin in paradise
This property is set in a forest and makes you feel like you're a million miles away from your troubles. The cabin Features 360 views of tall cedars, abundant rhododendrons, and immaculate landscape. The large windows give you the experience of being outside even though you were cuddled up next to a cozy fire.

Another wonderful stay at Pete’s Place

Another Peaceful Stay!
Chrissy always takes such good care of her guests. Her thoughtfulness is over the top, from the fire going, to the snacks, to the lights and heat on. I always enjoy staying here. The cabin is always spotless and the location is absolutely excellent and has everything you would ever need.

Woodland cabin in beautiful setting
We really enjoyed our stay in Chrissy’s cabin. It had everything we needed and the treats left were a nice touch - much appreciated. The map of the woodland trails that are just across the road was a boon - allowed me to do several trail runs without getting lost! We swam in the sea and in Goss Lake and enjoyed both. Communication with Chrissy was excellent and she answered questions very promptly.

Perfect spot for us
The place is very convenience and close to all the activities we wanted to do on Whidbey Island. The house is clean inside and outside. We were able to cook and BBQ our meals. We hiked the trails directly across the street from the house and went to Ft. Casey and Ft. Ebey state parks.
Thank you Chrissy for the opportunity to stay at Pete's place. You have a wonderful place and we'll definitely be back the next time we visit the island.

The Perfect Getaway
Pete's Place is in a beautiful and peaceful location nestled in the woods. We enjoyed the cabin and all it offered. The birds singing and coffee out on the deck was relaxing. It was close to the local lakes for fishing. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! Can hardly wait for the next opportunity to come back here.

Special and Rare
Special and rare because it has everything we were looking for in a great setting. Excellent craftsmanship in the construction and perfect attention to detail. No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. No noise or distractions, couldn't think of anything lacking.
