Liverpool Totally Wicked Stadium Hotels

"The rooms were a bit mixed up on arrival. We had booked a club room and was given a normal double, although to be fair we had asked to be on lower floor but we were also advised that there was no club room on ground floor. On arrival we just accepted the double room as we had travelled down from Scotland and were tired. We also paid for early check in not realising that when booking a club room early check in is included but payment was still taken. There were children running up and down the corridor at night playing and making a noise however the hotel cannot be blame for that.. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay there again if we came back to Liverpool "

"this was a sports pub with rooms not a hotel. No breakfast available( which wasn’t made clear on booking) and no heating in bedroom in the morning. Room was fine if uninspiring and good refreshment tray for hot drinks."

"This hotel is a great place to stay. The beds were really comfy,pillows were lovely and soft not like bricks under my head. The food was great in the restaurant plenty of choice, you can watch sports or sit in the garden. The bar has a wide range of drinks and snacks and a pool table. I found the room decor very tasteful however I did have an issue with the shower no fault of the hotel just a stupid design which a lot of the hotels have. My reason for staying was a post operative one as I live down south so stayed for 8 nights until my post op appointment. Knowing I wouldn’t be able to have a full blown shower or bath I needed the hose to reach down low for hair washes and washes. The hose had that silly restrictior thing on it so it wouldn’t budge. Rachael, Emma and Beth tried to remove it to no avail so they very kindly moved us to another room, I cannot express how grateful I am to you all. I also want to thank Donna behind the bar for her kindness , lovely lady. There is a nice big car park to this hotel "

"The restaurant was closed I was directed to a great Italian restaurant a few hundred yards away. Walls are thin and the halls are laminate so every suitcase that’s trundled along the hall outside is like a jumbo jet taxiing past"

"The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were all fabulous, from check in to restaurant and bar. The lady waiting on breakfast was especially great. The challenges were that the room was rather hot, and given the location on the main road, opening the window meant it was noisy. Noise was the main issue - from doors opening, floors creaking and especially from the person in the next room who had their tv on extremely loud until past 2am. "

"Room was lovely and very quiet considering the location. We were in a second floor room and the ceiling was a bit low for my 6'4" partner but everything was perfectly clean and very very comfortable. Not being able to get breakfast as the pub didn't open until half an hour after check out on a sunday was a bit of a pain. Luckily close to a few cafe's and other options so we managed. No option to store luggage that we were told about but we were only there a night so not really an issue for us and in fairness we didn't ask. We had dinner at the pub and it was good but the service was a little slow- it did seem to be very very busy so we might have just had bad luck. I did manage to break my foot after bumping into the end of the bed during the night so maybe keep a light handy and watch where you're going like I obviously didn't!!"
