“Such a peaceful spot. We had breakfast outside each morning while listening to the birds and then spotted constellations in the properly dark night sky. The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. “The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!”

“Our first stay here and hope to return some time. Very reasonably priced. Great room and comfortable bed. Staff very helpful and friendly with nothing too much trouble. No pets and we didn’t use the pool or spa as we’re in our 70s and were keener to go out and take advantage of the gorgeous weather and beautiful countryside and beaches!”
