We enjoyed our stay. It would be lovely if the hotel could spruce it up a bit: the interior garden looks neglected, and the elevator decor needs attention, as did particular aspects of our bathroom. I would stay there again should my travels take me to Lansing.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, even for just one night. The rooms were in terrible condition, with very poor lighting, and the bathroom drainage did not work. The entire room was extremely dirty and clearly not maintained properly. The front desk service was also very disappointing and unprofessional. What made the experience even worse was their handling of the security deposit, which felt dishonest and misleading. They would not respond properly to customer service calls and instead kept me on hold with music for a long time until I eventually gave up and ended the call.

Looked nothing like the pictures, under construction and overall pretty crummy and dingy with wires running up and down the hallways for WiFi and multiple rooms missing locks and handles

I checked into my room, noticed immediately that the covers were dirty had stains on them. The curtains to the room were broken half down stains on them. The bathroom was very filthy. Had to go in wipe down the toilet and the sink stains all over the sitting area chairs, and I also took pictures. It was a very unpleasant day was very unsatisfied, and the staff was not accommodating to the situation.

Room was musty and very dark with very outdated decor. Signs everywhere prohibiting guests from a variety of activities like removing food from the breakfast are and threatening fines for bringing food into the rooms. Generally not a welcoming or pleasant atmosphere.

I can tell the Clarion was once a very nice hotel but seems to perhaps be under new management these days and has declined. The bathroom in the first room was not clean so I asked for another one. I spoke to Paul at the front desk and he was nice enough to give me a new room which was much cleaner.
