"When we got to the hotel, our check-in was delayed almost until 4 PM even though they promised that their room will be ready earlier. Took me quite a bit of complaining to get to our room by 3:30 PM. The room that we had was very nice, but it had a very noisy AC unit, which was outdated and probably is used throughout the property."

"Oh my gosh!!! The best decision we made when planning our trip was to stay at this oceanfront condo!! It was so amazing to have the beautiful blue water just steps outside our door! And to get the best sunset on the island that everyone else has to drive here for, or eat at the Beach House to see. . We loved the ground floor so we could lay on the grass, play games and have meals with the ocean literally 5 feet away. And to hear the waves crash through the screen doors or windows as you sleep is amazinc. No need for A/C at all (though the unit has it it if you need it). We were so sad to leave this morning! The photos on the post of the couch are a bit older, there is now a queen size pullout bed. I researched a ton of different places to stay, and none of the others would’ve held a candle to this because of the ocean being right there. Also, Lawai beach, with cal snorkeling and a small sandy beach is steps away around the corner from the condo, just beside the Beach House restaurant. Watching surfers outside all day was also a bonus! Don’t spend any more time researching where to stay… This is definitely where you want to be!"

"The view of the cove was the best! We sat on the lanai and watched for turtles, enjoyed the trade winds and the sound of the waves. We walked around to the back of the property and watched the surfers, and you can see the sunset from there. The laundry was not in the condo but easily accessible on the floor, change machine included. The shower was wonderful, good hot water, the rain shower head and handheld spray were a treat. The folding plantation shutters kept the room cool while we were out. A/C is a huge plus : ) Totally enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"One of our favorite places we stayed on the islands!Beautiful grounds with abundant orchids and tropical plants.Condo was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with everything we needed. Great snorkeling beach just across the road - we even saw breaching humpback whales from there!Full kitchen had all we needed to make several meals (Hawaii restaurants are expensive!) Laundry on site is great, and VERY convenient, COVERED parking is right next door - Actually better than the condos lot!!Pool area is wonderful- right balance of sun and shade, and plenty of chaises.Short drive to other snorkel spots, Spouting Horn, and airport. Buy your groceries in Lihue, though, because markets are limited on South shore.MUST get white pineapple from a fruit stand on Kauai - may change your life, they are that good!My only criticisms are minor, and not the fault of the hosts - just FYI. First, someone in an adjacent condo was smoking, so we couldn't always enjoy the balcony (tho smoking is prohibited on grounds). Second, Roosters crow at all hours, even before dawn (Island-wide problem, and can'tcontrol the wildlife!) Last, the condo faces East, so you get first light. We were generally up early, but sun might wake you. Excellent communication with hosts, and lovely, convenient, quiet condo. DEFINITELY BOOK THIS ONE!"
