「Really enjoyed our overnight stay. The twin room was spacious, beds and pillows so comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. The initial problem with the heating was sorted out very quickly. We had our evening meal here, and can highly recommend the food. What really stands out at The Carpenters Arms, is the staff. Many thanks to Richard, Holly and Paula and to everyone that helps make this such a great place. We would certainly be happy to stay again. 」

Good shower in spacious bathroom. Comfy bed. Beautiful high quality curtains. Excellent breakfast including perfectly poached eggs. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere in pub in the evening. All ages.」

「Lovely setting for an overnight stay after a 5 hr drive. Great food and lovely staff. Didn’t like the flimsy plastic party glasses in the room. Glass or solid plastic one are more in keeping and more useable. 」
