“Wonderful! Taylor was a kind and thoughtful host. The cottage is perfectly located, cozy, and quiet. The walk to Northport on South Shore is beautiful with views of the lake and wildflowers all along. (We also saw deer, bunnies, and frogs on the two track path.) The cottage was clean, bright, comfortable, and the deck in front was beautifully landscaped and an excellent place to wind down after a day at the beach. Christmas Cove beach was a short 10min drive as was Green Bird, our favorite……

“The lake front home is located deep in the woods far from the road and is exceptionally quiet and private. Glen Arbor, the dune climb and Lake Michigan are just minutes drive away. The Alligator Hill trail system is right across the road so if you are a dog walker, there are miles of pristine wooded trails to hike. I have stayed here several times in the past 15 years. All of the appliances have been updated and are very nice. The TV and the Wi-fi worked well. The home is older and the decor is……

“While we were there on a very hot weekend we were able to keep the house cool with the fans at night. Being from Western North Carolina my husband and I were able to adapt however, I would probably suggest that anyone with less of a heat tolerance be sure and check the weather for your stay! The property is adorable, private, and comfortable.”
