We had a great stay. The beds are a little uncomfortable, but still slept good. Need more mirrors, we were fighting over the one and only mirror in the bathroom.Overall this is a cute small house. Perfect for 2-3 people. It rained the whole time so we didn’t get to use the backyard or fireplace. House was clean. Plenty of parking. Was a little difficult getting in and out onto the main road. We would have to turn right and do a u turn because traffic was so heavy. Would recommend this place.

The place has nice finishes. It’s smaller than I expected and would have liked. My biggest issue with my stay was the location. The house that is pinned in the app varies drastically from the actual location. I feel that this place is overpriced for the accommodations. It was dog friendly, which is a plus. It was clean and organized. Check in and check out was a breeze. Literally the only thing that keeps me from posting a higher star rating is the misrepresentation of the location.

We arrived at the check-in time; it was myself and two daughters all of us coming from different areas and driving anywhere from 4 to 5 hours to reach this property. The property was filthy! Obviously not professionally cleaned, cobwebs, baseboards that showed dirt debris and hair, the shower was dirty with black hair remaining in it, the bathroom light was only partially working, there were dead bugs in the cupboards where the plates were located, and overall dirty. This place had not been professionally cleaned at all, and yet we were charged a cleaning fee as a part of our reservation. But the thing that really caused the biggest issue for us was about 8PM. We noticed the temperature in the house went suddenly from 69 and 55% humidity up to what ended up at 78 and 83% humidity on one of the hottest days of the year. My granddaughters of three and four years old were traveling with us and by the time the thermostat hit 78 we were all sweating. I contacted the owner sending a text stating there is no air coming through the vents any longer, and the temperature in the house and the humidity have climbed to a very uncomfortable level. The response I received was “try not to leave the front door opened”. I responded back “we have not been sitting here with the door open”. What was discovered is the thermostat is a wireless fully remote controlled thermostat, owner controlled. We vacated the property 16 1/2 hours after entering at 7:38 AM on Saturday morning!
