「The hotel was wonderful. Our only complaint was we were there on a Monday. No bar, no breakfast. That was disappointing. 」

「The property was very convenient to get to the university . I personally think the room needed to be updated and the hallways the rooms were in they had a dated dusty feel. The Placery had great bartenders limited food though」

「We originally booked the hotel because my son was in an accident and hospitalized. However he was discharged and we wanted to cancel the reservation but we were unable to cancel due to Expedia cancellation policy. Kipp offered to give us credit to use on a future stay from the property itself however we did not have any plans for a future stay so we decided to stay the night. The room was adequate. Parking was limited. We missed the breakfast but the morning desk attendant made coffee for us 」

「The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!」

「Then whole floor smelled weed. This is a large hotel, and this is not the first time I stay here. But I notice the people that tend to stay here are more and more sketchy. The whole floor smelled to marihuana. Sad.」

「A bit outdated but clean. Not as sound proof as it could be. Room was small but we liked having the separate seating area. I prepaid for room through Expedia but I had to pay the hotel directly. But overall we were pleased with our stay.」
