Retired winegrowers (Château des Correaux located a stone's throw away, family estate since 1803 run by their son in "reasoned viticulture" / tasting & visit possible by reservation), Marie-Edith & Jean welcome you to an elegant authentic winegrower's house traditional character from the 18th century steeped in history & carefully restored - equipped with an unusual closed interior "patio" & a typical "Mâconnaise gallery" - located on a balcony, on the south-west hillside well exposed, within a a charming wine-growing village in the Côtes Mâconnaises. Nestled in the very heart of the bucolic vineyards of the famous Saint-Véran cru, in the hollow of the gentle valley of Arlois (the only one in Burgundy producing both white, rosé & red wines from southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais ), under the wooded crests of a protected forest in "Zone Natura 2000" & a vast wild forest massif, Leynes has a sublime landscaped setting (on a clear day you can make out the Alps as far as Mont-Blanc from its Heights). Comfortable cottage. Ultra spacious. Warm neo-rustic country character mixing "vintage" spirit & more contemporary touches. Exotic atmosphere of an old country residence.
