My stay at MyStays Asakusabashi was excellent. Cleaning each day was great and the room was really comfy and perfect for my needs. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Tokyo - the location is superb for getting on the train at Asakusabashi station and is in walking distance to Akihabara.

I have been back to this hotel multiple times and it’s a fantastic experience each time. It’s close to the station (with elevators), there are dining options nearby including a delicious Yakiniku restaurant. It’s clean, safe, has the laundry machines, and has a convenience store connected downstairs open all night for any necessities!

Don’t let the small room size put you off. Extremely helpful and polite staff, super clean rooms that provide you with shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, as well as toothpaste and a multi usb cable to charge your electronics. Very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend

Hotel is conveniently located like 1min away from Asakusabashi Station and roughly 10min walk away from Akihabara which is awesome. Hotel staff is friendly and can communicate in good english. Rooms are however small but that’s probably common everywhere in Japan. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short stay!

This hotel is so convenient! Right next to the train station and physically connected to a Lawsons conbini. Only a 10 min walk from Akihabara. Surrounded by several awesome food options and stores if you want to hangout close by. The room was small but comfortable and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Very convenient location next to Asakusa-bashi station, with many small, charming restaurants nearby. However, with trains running in each direction every 3-5 minutes, noise is a factor. In my room, I could theoretically use the remote control to set the AC to any temperature, but the actual temperature in the room was always warm and somewhat stuffy.(I mentioned this to the front desk.)

A great location that's tucked away near the Asakusabashi station. This hotel has always been my go to whenever I'm in Tokyo since it's quiet, has a lot of good food and convenience/grocery stores close by, and it's a short distance away from Akihabara. I liked that the room had a universal phone charger, so that was handy in charging my devices (I did not bring enough cables). Very basic amenities, so don't expect anything extra. Only complaint was when I was there, the dryer wasn't working...which I didn't find out until after I did laundry, so be sure to check that is working before you start a wash.

Great location but too many flaws

Great location beacause there are nice food street and train/subway stations really close by BUT we could hear the train and the noise of closing doors (which happens quite often)... We had the room in the 11th floor. Also the room didn't seem very clean and everything was quite worn out. I didn't expect anything spectacular with this price but basic cleanliness would've been nice.

Absolutely love the property. It’s very easy to get to and has incredibly close access to subway and JR Station to make for quick trips (Akihabara is only 12 minutes walking and even quicker by JR train) While the room is a bit small. It’s comfy enough. The beds are great and the bathrooms are incredible. Good showers and toilets. The staff does great cleaning and you have good laundry service on site. The staff helped out with any inquiries I had. You also have access to a convenience store right from the hotel so if you’re an early riser like me you can easily snag some cheap breakfast instead of looking for a place that’s open. I will continue to use this hotel for any future stays in Japan. You really should use them as the stay has always been incredibly pleasant.

I’m overall still unsatisfied with my stay at this hotel. I understand it’s summer (August) and obviously this location is popular. I just can’t believe they would give my parents a room with a malfunctioning door. They kept dragging it on trying to fix it for 3days. My parents had to use keys to open manually instead of using a card. On the 3rd day, even the keys wouldn’t lock anymore. My parents had to move all luggage to my room. They wouldn’t give them another room and insisted on getting someone to fix the door that day. We returned back to the hotel and they left us a letter saying they couldn’t fix it and had to change rooms to a lower level. The issue is the ac being broken and only gets slightly cold. Come on… it’s super hot in the summer and we definitely need ac to relax after a long day of walking. The hotel did refund partially for my parent’s stay. But the stay was not comfortable or convenient in any way at all.
