Een heel ruime gite met erg grote tuin. De woning is beneden lekker koel, zelfs tijdens de hittegolf. De kamers op de eerste etage vielen mee van warmte, op de tweede etage - die we niet gebruikten - was het wel snikheet. Alles is voorzien (keukengerei, gezelschapsspelen, spellen voor buiten,..). Mooie wandelingen op wandelafstand van de woning, ideaal gelegen. Eén minpunt: er is geen gsm-bereik en de vaste telefoon werkte niet (we vonden de lader niet). Gelukkig is er wel goede wifi.

Mooi huis met alle nodige voorzieningen. Prachtige tuin. Mountainbike- en wandelroutes passeren het huis. Toch enkele opmerkingen: volgens de site is het huis geschikt voor 15 personen, maar dit klopt niet helemaal. Het huis is groot genoeg en er kunnen 15 personen slapen maar samen eten kan niet. De tafel in de eetkamer is niet groot genoeg. Hetzelfde voor het tv-salon. Dat is amper geschikt voor 8 personen. Er is nog wel een 2de eetplaats en een grote polyvalente ruimte. Maar met de familie op vakantie zou je wel met zijn allen samen aan tafel moeten kunnen en samen rond het haardvuur kunnen zitten. Ook rond het haardvuur in de polyvalente ruimte stonden onvoldoende zetels. Wat de houtkachels en haardvuur betreft: super gezellig en voldoende hout was voorzien, maar bij aankomst waren die kachels niet proper en klaar om aangestoken te worden.
