Great stay in Ligar Bay

Very comfortable and well appointed bach in Ligar Bay, complete with bikes and sea kayaks! Ligar Bay itself is lovely, with shallow pools 100+ meters out ar low tide. Great value property.

Lovely location and comfortable house. Great wifi and instructions for use of the house. Missing wood for the fire which was a shame at this time of year. Overall, lovely spot for a break.

Older style, great views, great location and very clean

We (two adult couples) stayed here with the plan to walk the northern parts of the Abel Tasman track. It was perfect for that! We then spent the evenings sitting on the deck enjoying the wonderful views.

WitsEnd is the perfect property for a family stay

WitsEnd is the perfect property for a family stay. The location at Ligar Bay is breathtaking with a wonderful beach for swimming & kayaking. The bach is always spotless & the beds beautifully made and the kitchen is well equipped. We continue to return to WitsEnd as it is a family favourite.

We loved our stay. House had everything we needed for a great summer holiday. Was so handy being able to hop across the road to swim and use the kayaks. Loved Waking up to the beautiful views! What an amazing house in the perfect location!

What an amazing house in the perfect location! We loved being able to stroll across the road to the beach in the day and sit out on the balcony at night watching the ocean come and go. Really close to some lovely cafes and shops in Pohara and Takaka, as well as some great bush walks. Great having the kayaks on hand too! Truly the place to stay in Golden Bay. The house had everything we needed and more. We would love to come back and will definitely be recommending it to anyone going to the area

The property is always spotless on arrival with the beds beautifully made. WitsEnd is a perfect place for families to stay with a safe swimming beach over the road. The kayaks provided get daily use by our family as the tidal bay provides excellent kayaking conditions. Ligar Bay is a beautiful location and the view from the deck is breathtaking. After a third visit WitsEnd is our family's favourite summer holiday destination.

Excellent location.

Excellent location. Property well equipped and stocked with necessities and more. With a long low estate wagon access to the property was a little challenging at first with "bottoming out" problems - would suggest that the opening to the drive be widened to make angled approach easier. Good to be forewarned about the problem, however. A motion-activated light above the back door (like at the front) would help those arriving late.

We made a last-minute decsion to get out of town for the long weekend. Despite torrential rain and winds most of the time we were there, we had a lovely, relaxing stay. The fire kept us cozy when we were penned up and the bach was spacious and tidy with a brilliant view over the bay. Great base from which to explore Golden Bay from :)

Witsend is a lovely property with that relaxed "Kiwi Bach" feel.

Witsend is a lovely property with that relaxed "Kiwi Bach" feel. It's immaculately clean and comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a good holiday. It's in a great location across the road from the beach . The front of the property looks out over Ligar Bay while the rear view is of the country fields. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to other holiday makers

The location is perfect for a beach holiday.

The location is perfect for a beach holiday. The daily bird song was beautiful. The property was presented in a very clean and tidy condition throughout. The beach was our living area or else the deck as for the most part we enjoyed gloriously sunny hot weather! The back lawn area with the large picnic table was our preference to enjoy breakfast and dinner where we captured the rising and setting sun. Having the separate toilet was appreciated. We loved our holiday at WitsEnd and will return.
