“This was my third stay at the Sir Alfred Munnings Hotel, and each stay has been perfect. The location is rural enough to be away from the hustle and bustle, whilst close enough to neighbouring towns. The staff were welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay, and I’ll definitely book to stay again in the future.”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff good atmosphere in the bar. Food was good. Great aera for exploring. Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression. Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money.”

“The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”

“It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.”

Friendly and attentive staff (each and every person we met across all areas had a very high standard of service) - super welcoming to dogs - tasty, quality food and drink (including a great quality, extensive breakfast offer) - bar with a nice vibe - beautiful grounds - excellent facilities. Room was clean and had good amenities. Excellent parking (with charging points). We will return!”

“What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all……

“We found the Hotel through the reviews on here and we had a fabulous experience. Both the dinner and the breakfast were excellent. Locally sourced, beautifully prepared food. Our hosts were excellent. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.”
