"Late October stay had cooler temperatures, house was warm, patio had plenty of heat to enjoy view and hot tub was warm. Place has great view from upper patio. Loved the loft with master suite. Enjoyed the night sky with the sliver moon and stars you simply don’t see in the city. "

"We enjoyed our stay & would like to return in the future. Although the leaves were just beginning to change color in the upper elevations, it was still very beautiful. We enjoyed the special touch of the sheep throughout the house, especially the framed tee shirt. Hearing the train pass several times daily reminded me of spending time with my grandparents. Our host was very helpful & his instructions were great."

"Most often when you see something that looks too good to be true, it usually is. But this place was as amazing as the listing made it out to be. Rooms were a good size, there was room for all of us to have our own space. One thing to note is the only private bath was the master bath. My kids loved the game room. Even my husband joined in! We used the gas fire pit every morning and night. We have always sought out places with firepits, but we were so happy with the view that we didn't even use the wood burning one in the yard. There were adequate plates, cups, etc. They left a bag of starbucks beans for us. We had brought our own, but was still a great gesture. This place is ready for the coffee lover. They have a keurig duo so you can bring pods or do drip brew. They even have a chemex and bean grinder. Kitchen utensils and appliances were great! They have a griddle! Lots of spatulas, decent knives, bowls, even baggies and plastic storage bins for leftovers. We did not use the hot tub, but there is a basket of towels specifically for that use. Also i noticed a pack and play and a high chair in the pantry. If i had to name a couple areas for improvement I'd request allowing guests to use the closet in the master bedroom. We don't usually bring things that need to hang, just a consideration. And maybe like 2 extra blankets in the living area. Almost all the bedrooms had one in the closet but it would be nice to have some extra for common areas. Will come again! "
Foliage Views! Hot Tub, Game Room, Movie Theater, Fire Pit

"We just spent the weekend at Linville on a Lark and it was the best few days! The house is very nice and the most well stocked that I’ve ever stayed in. Siobhan, our host, was very quick to respond and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The kids enjoyed the game room and movie theater so much. The location is perfect and being in a gated community made us feel very safe. And the view….well, it was fabulous! "

"The home was clean and very attractive as pictured, and the community is nice. We met a nice neighbor who told us what roads were actually open at what times(some roads still in clean up mode after Hurricane Helene). That helped us avoid lengthy detours unnecessarily. The owner communicated promptly for any questions and was very attentive and kind. Only suggestion would be allow occupants to have more control of home temperature during stay. We all utilized the spare blankets when sitting around. "
