The actual condition of the property is a lot shabbier than the photos on Orbitz. There are three areas: the main house, and two bungalow houses, all in close proximity on a city lot. We didn't choose - we were placed in one of the bungalows. The bungalow we were in had no wifi, so we could not use wifi in our rooms. If we went into the main house or outside in the courtyard, wifi worked. We did not have access to the main house after 9 PM. The main house was the only place with cups, spoons, hot water kettle (for tea, etc.) -- so we couldn't access any of those things after 9 PM. Our bungalow had clean sheets and towels, but the floors weren't very clean, and the main bedroom smelled strongly of mildew. We also happened to be there during an unusually hot couple of days, and the bungalow had no A/C (this was not the property's fault, however -- they did not advertise A/c).
Overall -- if I was a 22 year old backpacking across Europe, this was like an independent hostel and would have been ok for $30 a night for one person. But we were a family of four (two kids) and it wasn't a good place for us. We didn't expect anything fancy but we did expect the property to look like the photos (it didn't) and for it to be spic and span (it wasn't). That's why we are giving this a poor rating. Also, beware, one of the hosts smokes in the outdoor courtyard areas and guests are permitted to smoke out there -- it blows into your rooms.
