「Greeted with a warm welcome, Great room , kettle, coffee machine, hairdryer, biscuits and so cosy, Had dinner which was delicious top marks to the chef, Breakfast in morning was also delicious fresh butchers sausages and trimmings, we was looked after by Ashleigh for breakfast and was so professional, polite with a smile , Thanks so much we will come again 」

「The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice dining room in a genuine rural setting. Service was friendly & excellent.」

「This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil」
